Since becoming a Class-A member of the PGA in 2002, Lonny has played in 7 PGA Tour Events, 9 National Club Professional Championships, and won the STPGA Section Championship twice. In 2010 he was awarded the Harvey Penick Teacher of the Year award and the STPGA Player of the Year award, which he repeated in 2011. Lonny and his wife Heather live in New Braunfels and have two children Madison (15) and Josh (12).
